As a result, our curriculum makes full use of our local community and the rich opportunities available within Leicester and the Eyres Monsell area. Through studying our locality, children develop a strong sense of place and belonging whilst exploring how their community compares with other regions of the United Kingdom and the wider world. This helps pupils develop both local pride and a broader understanding of diverse cultures, environments and experiences.

Our curriculum is enriched through a wide range of educational visits, visitors, practical experiences and memorable learning opportunities that bring learning to life. We place equal importance on academic achievement, personal development, creativity, physical wellbeing and character development, ensuring pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education and for life

By the time pupils leave Eyres Monsell Primary School, we aim for them to have developed a secure body of knowledge, a curiosity about the world around them and the confidence to make a positive contribution to their community and beyond.
